Tonight chicken stir fry is on the menu. I have some peppers, onions, water chestnuts, broccoli crowns and carrots to toss in so it should be yummy.

When I went to the meat market yesterday I had them almost shave a Ribeye steak. My husband is going to see if that will make a steak sandwich if he fries it up with some mushrooms, onions and peppers. I also got him some hoagie buns from the bakery. If it doesn't turn out we can have the leftover swiss chicken.

I am not much of a red meat eater but the rest of the family is.

So I have a question (SMXGirl, I seen you made this a couple of days ago) my husband has been wanting beef tips. I asked at the meat market but they don't have any, so would I use beef stew meat of some kind of other meat and the cut into the cubes? I am OK with cooking chicken, pork, seafood, and even hamburger meat, but I have no clue when it comes to other red meats. Thanks.

I just put a chuck roast in the crockpot. I make some mashed potatoes and green beans to go with it.

I'm making a recipe I made last weekend.. Thai-style chicken kebabs w/ peanut sauce. Will probably make broccoflower and rice to go with.

Also, a garden salad with italian dressing.
Strawberries with whip cream for dessert.

Tonight will be whatever DH hauls home! LOL Thinking it may be a pork potato with white BBQ sauce for me and smoked chicken or turkey for him.

Yum!

I'm having the shrimp I didn't get around to cooking last night (didn't get home after work until 8 p.m.). So, tonight it'll be shrimp sauteed in garlic and herbs, with a little brown rice on the side and a pile of fresh veggies. My mouth is watering already!

Tonight I'm cooking real food, since the Nutrisystem food is running low. Lightly breaded chicken with parmesan and garlic, a few gnocchi, and some zucchini and tomatoes...still will stay on the straight and narrow...teeny portions.
