I missed posting dinner yesterday...busy day..washed my 23 year old cat and then my Basset Hound, gave them both good brushings (oh my so much hair), worked out on my roses cutting off the dead flowers, did some weeding and made hot dogs for dinner. We had German potatoe salad and my fresh, raw cut up veggies with dip on the side. It was 90 here yesterday! Yikes! Tonight is our early Saturday night out--probably Mexican. I seem to need my Mexican food fix about once a week now and the price is right!

Have Weber will grill. Brisket and pork loin being prepared. One side will be new crop roasted red potatoes on the grill and the other fresh new crop sweetcorn from just down the road a bit. Coconut cream pie for dessert.

This one got a massage with McCormick's steak rub. Sometimes just salt and white pepper. The secret is the electric slicer to slice it very thin. Sauce or not sauce it's very good to the palate. The corn it up to the wife. Suspect it will be corn on the cob. Found a package of Green Fordhook Limas in the freezer to add to the mix. More left overs for tomorrow. The brisket is on the Weber now so I'm past the point of no return on that part any way.
