Jambalaya cooking in the crock pot using the following recipe if anyone's interested. This is our first time trying this recipe & it smells delicious--however we haven't tasted it yet! It was easy to throw together too.
I watch their show often and their food looks great, how was it in person?
Neely's was REALLY good.
Their cole slaw was a bit on the spicy side......very good but different. I think they add mustard to it. The beans were a smaller variety than I am accustomed to......great northern or something (I am more familiar with the pinto and Anasazi bean).....with a lot of molasses and onion flavors. the pulled pork was really tender, I suppose a slow smoking and roasting of 18 hours will do that.
My partner had their texas sausage.........she said it was awesome......but although we usually share a bite or two when we try things out for the first time, I didn't get a sample of hers (she liked mine though) so I can only take her word for it.
