Keep it up you will start noticing the difference your food will taste like real food not salt & preservatives. I made sloppy Joes with about a half # of leftover ground beef for lunch. No Manwich here either just ketchup, onions browned with the burger, mustard and vinegar.

Thanks Jaxson...yeah I am trying to eliminate all processed food, preservatives etc. I do not add salt to anything I cook either. Hubby likes salt so he can add as he pleases.

We buy chips & ice cream some times but that is usually it for processed. Here lately my DD has been wanting all kinds of processed foods at the grocery stores. She has been staying with a lot of friends lately and says that is what they eat there. She is a salt freak so she doesn't notice it so much but says it is quicker to fix than cooking from scratch. Got to get this kid turned back around she won't get processed foods here.
Oops I do buy her Kraft Mac & Cheese and Ramen noodles but she doesn't eat them often none of the rest of us can stand them.

From the looks of what is staged on the kitchen counter I'm guess Spanish Rice-a-Roni with ham, green beans, and pickled beets.

Everytime you mention beets, I always think of those purple beet things back in school that would stain anything! Blah!!! (I know that's not like what you are eating though!)
Dinner tonight will be salad, baked beans (STILL have a pile of beans left!), and probably either some chicken wings baked, or some lemon pepper talipia baked. Have a few hushpuppies we need to eat too!
