I live in the mecca of delicious food, so I don't typically choose McDonald's. I prefer other choices. However, every once in awhile when we travel and stop along the way to use the restrooms or eat... I do grab McDonald's. I somewhat enjoy it
I haven't been in over a year, when I was lured in with one of their 2fer1 coupon offers. I was really dismayed by the atmosphere of the 'restaurant.'
The clientele were shady, down on their luck, and the employees looked like soulless, expressionless zombies. Needless to say, I haven't been back since.
If you want to see the US at it's anonymous, saddest, low point, visit a mcdonald's.
I haven't eaten at McDonalds in over 10 yrs. The last time i ate there was for the McRib. That is the only thing i ever liked about them though i heard their ice coffee is good. The only fast food i really go to now is Chik Fila.
I only go to a fast food place when I have no other choice. The last time I stopped at a McD's I had a meal and bought my dog a plain hamburger. What surprised me was that my dog would not eat the McD burger. I ate my meal and about fifteen minutes on the road I had to pull over and use a mouth wash to get rid of that lousy McD after taste. I am going to do my best to avoid all these fast food joints in the future.
Yes McDonald is alright if your in a hurry & don't feel like cooking. The double cheeseburger is the only thing I've ever had a problem with it. When I opened it there was greese rolling off of it, so much greese that the wrapper was saturated & so was my hand.
I remember picking up a gallon of water at Trader Joe's. Another customer praised me for my selection. He said he bought the same bottled water too since it was the only water which didn't kill the fish in his acquarium!
