Oh, we must have missed it last year. But I believe that it's better for you to drink actual sugar, with all its downsides, than to drink HFCS, which is made to use up all that excess corn that is produced.

Also, my husband is allergic to corn and soy (mildly, thank goodness!). I'd rather have non-HFCS sweetener choices, if only so he doesn't have to have sneezing fits.

Dr. Pepper is one of those things you either love or hate.

Personally speaking, it is my favorite soda. I have a friend who has described it as "rancid cough syrup".

I've actually had them ship it to me before from their store.

I've toured the Dublin bottling plant...their DP is also in glass bottles!!!
...no comparison. I was also at the Waco museum...not sure if that formula is sugar, but the DP jelly beans were awesome.

If you liked Pepsi Throwback, try Pepsi Natural; not only is it made with sugar, it also contains actual Kola nut extract!!!

really? It's got such a gloppy, sticky after taste. We're drinking throwback pepsi right now, and have really tried to eliminate hfcs from our diet entirely.

Well, for those wondering if it was still going to be around, it still is here.

I prefer the HFCS, and I've tried both regular Mt. Dew, and Mt. Dew Throwback.

Yep, that's the best part - soda without it tastes so thin and bland, might as well just have sparkling water in my opinion.

The HEB supermarkets (South Texas) now have their generic cola made with with cane sugar, a little higher priced than the regular.

You can order Dublin Dr. Pepper and it'll be shipped to you from Dublin. With shipping, it'll cost about 75c a can, I think, in a case of 48. http://www.olddocs.com/results.aspx?...cat1=Dr+Pepper
