I lightly grease the pan(s), add pineapple slices, pour in batter, bake. Yes I do have to flip over the cake to get it out of the pan(s). But it's not the traditional Upside down pineapple cake. It doesn't have brown sugar or cherries. This cake mix doesn't need it.
