Cheerios are my favorite cold cereal! But, they do have to be the brand name - there is no comparison! I go through such periods my self, but it seems like I only do it with breakfast foods.
I don't suppose I've had a Cheerio in ten years. Never gave them a thought. I don't rally like cold cereal.
Then suddenly out of the blue I've eaten two boxes of Cheerios in the last two weeks. For some reason they are suddenly delectable and delicious and I'm loving my Cheerios. I have no idea why.
Does this happen to you? Sudden delight in some ordinary food that you'd completely forgotten about?
It happens a lot.
A lot of times I get tired of a certain cereal so I like to switch it out.
A few years ago I had a resurgence of my love for Star Crunches. I used to eat a whole box in one day when I was a kid!
I like Honey Nut Cheerios better than the regular ones. Unfortunately the Honey Nut Cheerios started giving me headaches so I traded them out for Rice Chex.
I can eat Cheerios right out of the box. Just like peanuts. No need for milk. I can eat them in a bowl with fresh peaches or strawberries cut up on them too. Just no milk please. Keep 'em crisp.
Well this is very interesting, b/c Cheerios have just now become available in Oddstralia. I'm not really a cereal person, but that recipe for hot buttered seems worthy of investigation. (Once this furnace-like weather is over, of course).
When I was pregnant (both times) I always got up in the middle of the night
craving cheerios. I ate a bowl at 2 or 3 am almost every night while pregnant.
Both my boys have loved Cheerios from before birth
I am a cereal addict. Last count in my pantry were 14 different boxes. But the one that always has to be there is Cheerio's. The others I can live without if need be but Cheerios? No freaking way. I would have a nervous breakdown if I ever ran out lol!

Have you tried the chocolate ones yet???
