Pesto instead of tomato-based sauce, feta, mozz and a little asiago, eggplant, sliced fresh tomato, wild mushrooms, churizo and carmelized onions. mmmmm.... now I know what we're having for supper.
I tend to prefer veggie-based pizzas, including those 'white' pizzas with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes -- or, I go the other extreme, and want an all-meat pie with sausage and pepperoni. The one thing all of the pizzas seem to have in common is perhaps mushrooms, onion, and black olives.
I like a mix of meat and veggies. Not too heavy on the meat and not a garden on my pizza just the right mix. Not a fan of ground beef on a pizza for some reason.
