This is a stake:

This is a steak:

I've never had an In-N-Out burger. I voted Steak 'n Shake because their ingredients seem to be of higher quality than the non-quality of McDonald's *shudder* or the slightly less disgusting Burger King.

I worked at a Sonic years ago, and let me tell you that their food is pretty disgusting.

I've noticed that around here Burger King seems to have lost some of their locations or something. There used to be more of them, I think.
I wish they would expand a little faster. I know that part of what makes them good for the price, is the slow growth, but oh how I miss them. Yes, I had the lettuce wrap once, only problem I got the sauce all over everything. I guess it is better to eat it on a bun!!!

As for Burger King, you are probable right, some may have been out of business. I know we have lost some KFCs here and in NM, but some people still swear by them.

Burger King burgers and McDonald's fries. That's only if I have to do this. Much prefer making my own black bean burgers.

1/ In-N-Out, you can have a satisfying meal for $4-$6 and it's always consistently good. Legendary customer service and I have eaten at In-N-Outs probably 300 times and have never had a bad experience.

2/ Five Guys, portions are way too large, but the burgers are good. I love the variety of toppings they offer.

3/ Fatburger (not on the list)

4/ Burgerville (Pacific Northwest chain)

5/ Hamburger Hamlet (not fast food)

I can't believe no one mentioned Hardee's until page five of this thread! Their burgers are pretty good.

I've only had In-N-Out once, but it was one of the best fast food burgers I've had. Another top fast food burger is Mr. Quick (couple of locations in Michigan). Again, only had it once, but really good.

IMO, Five Guys is overrated.

Burgerville. Burgerville
Best ever.

Sonic is good when Burgerville is not available.

What about Jack In The Box? It is our go-to when we want to eat cheap.

My favorite is Carl's Jr. (Hardee's east of the Rockies).

Second favorite is In-N-Out, though I hardly eat there.

Five Guys isn't bad but they are rather pricey.

Jack in the Box is also pretty good. My favorite item from there is the Ultimate Cheeseburger.
