Just saw it on TV, "Deep Fried Paradise".

Looks like the most sinful, most delicious, most deadly heart-attack-on-a-plate I've ever heard of. I'd eat it.

Battered strips of slab bacon, deep fried and served with a big bowl of southern gravy for dipping. Ohmygod.

The house specialty from some diner in Snook, Texas. If anybody ever gets to Snook, eat some chicken fried bacon for me. I want it!

I had it at the State Fair of Texas. I wanted to like it but didn't. It was faaaaaaaaar too salty for any of us to enjoy, and heck, I'm a salt lover!

I think it's just one of those things that looks better than it tastes..

There's a place in Spicewood, TX called Angel's Icehouse that serves it, too, or at least they did when I stopped there last summer. I was too chicken to try it.
