What do you usually take to potlucks? (ingredients, pepper, powder)

I usually bring either a cold broccoli salad or oriental crispy coleslaw, at the repeated request of people who have had them and love them.

When I take vegetable I also take bread~ seems to be most welcome

Summers I usually get asked to bring deviled eggs~ if they specifically ask why not do it?

Apples and cheese caserole, ham salad, German chocolate cake, and homemade loaves of sour dough bread.

If I was back home in NJ a tray of Italian pastries is always acceptable.

Fruit always works for me. I go to the farmer's market and buy the best in season stuff and chop it up to put in a bowl. Always pretty and always goes quick.

My husband's family always requests at least one (if not all) of the following: Garlic Cheese Grits**, Potato Salad**, Pistachio Salad, Trifle, Curry Rice Salad, or Tortellini Salad. (** most-requested)

I make it as easy on myself as possible. KFC or Albertson's pre-cooked chicken or salad of both.
