I do have a few recommendations for improvements. I really think they would have another winner if they made a hot and spicy Buffalo version of this great new sandwich with an option for jalapenos.

Wow, Nomad's pic looks way yummier than the one in the news link!

As a sandwich it'd be too messy and too much meat to bite through all at once for me. Would love it without the cheese and stuff in the middle - just the crispy, spicy, buffalo fried chicken with a couple pieces of crispy bacon wrapped around it. Mmmmm now we're talkin!

Oh and the fat and sodium? Scary, sure - but there's room for everything in moderation. It's a treat - not a daily habit (for some of us ).

Must. Close. Thread. This is too tempting - I want to lose a few lbs before my trip to Hawaii!

Well these photos of this delicious new sandwich weren't edited by the news media. You can use a fork and knife if you like. Thanks for the idea.

Since I'm supposed to eat 1,600 calories a day, does this mean I can have a Double Down for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner?! Yippeeeeee!!!

You like all that green tea, and now you are going to eat one of those things.

I thought you were on the "healthy plan"...

That Col. Sand is out of the question for me..

I would love a Carls's Jr. triple heart attack, but that is what I would probably have...

Happy trails,

I want to hear what you think of that "gut bomb".

HW.

I already posted for you the pics and thoughts. After doing this chicken I'm prepared for a trip out to the southwest to the "Heart Attack Grill". Yes I drink green tea by the gallons. Guess I should suggest that KFC make it available with the sandwich.

I am WAY more tempted by this -- especially since seeing the REAL pics (thanks Nomadicus!) -- than I even was by the Taco Bell shrimp taco.

This bunless beauty is definitely on my "to do" list... possibly Saturday on my way to Trader Joe's.

Yep. I now my beef cuts as a former meat cutter. Chicken too. Now if KFC did Porterhouse like they did the chicken sandwich the world would beat a path to their door. Oh and I don't eat any meat crowing or mooing.
