Chiles Rellenos I learned to love south of the border. The closest place to get the real thing to me is upwards of thirty miles away. It is about time for a road trip.

I'm sorry you have to go such a long way for such a great tasting dish.
My wife's favorite dish to make. Calls it her dinner bell. Everytime family knows shes making it they show up in droves. My oldest Daughter will drive two hours to come for dinner then drive two hours back to college just to get some. Crazy Latinas God help the men my daughters marry.

A good mole, made the right way is hard to beat. Good complex layers of flavor, YUM.

Also love just about any good taco: Carnitas, Lengua, Cabesa, Barbacoa, etc...

And as simple as it might sound, good, fresh corn tortillas hot off the press, just rolled up and eaten are really good. Simple, but good.

And while I'm at it, good salsas, as in the red or the green sauce served with tacos, or a good picante salsa made with fresh ingredients.

"Eff" it, I like it all.

Living in San Diego, we have an authentic Mexican place on every corner! I love carne asada burritos. San Diego has the best ones I've ever had. Something to be said for living 13 miles from the border!

A buffet to linger around for hours would be good. I think we may be getting a Sunday Brunch coming soon we may go to once a month.

I love it all.

Especially a good chili relleno and a good mole sauce...we all agree on this subject!

Oh and how could I forget....shrimp ceviche.
