I expanded my horizons with slaw (mayo-based) in AK with deep-fried halibut tacos...then took it to BBQ with pork...I won't go back...I love a vinegar-based slaw too....but have to go there next and decide...

Vinegar based slaw ! It just occured to me I'm thinking only of the mayo stuff. I think Church's Chicken makes a great Slaw with vinegar!! No wait maybe not In fact our big BBQ chain here uses it for sure and it's great. I could see that being in a sandwich with pork. They serve potato salad also!

you haven`t experienced Fat Jacks Deli in Lakeland, Fl.......open faced sliced roast beef(rare) drenched in gravy on large sub roll topped with cole slaw....they call it the "Sloppy Jack".......definitely southern as it gets.....been there since the 40`s......awesome flavor
