Yup, regional thing. Lots of places use corriander seed/ plant. Aslo right to whoever said butter and dairy ARE used...of course they are. You just hear about oil more.

I am one of the people who think it tastes like soap. I used to tell people that and they would look at me like I was nuts. Then, I read about it and figured out why some people thought it tasted great and other, like me, soapy tasting.
