Also affecting brands such as Snickers and Maltesers, owner Masterfoods said it had started to use animal product rennet to make its chocolate products.

This is true, they were using a form of rennet I believe. After less than two weeks they stopped and issued an huge apology, it was on the internet last week sometime but I don't have a link.

It's too late. After I read what they were contaminate the candy with I decided against buying them any more. No more mini Mars Bars for trick or treaters in my neighborhood.
