Anniversary chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes and French green beans. For dessert we had some banana pudding and nilla wafers. No bananas in it though because my 11yr old thinks it just gross to have the banana to be all squishy with pudding?

Thumbs up Dinner with Roy and friends.

Two meatballs, green peas, three cheese ravioli and some cool clear Montana Treasure H20. Then back to enjoying Roy Orbison's video, "Roy Orbison and friends : Black and white night." on my TV through my Blue-ray player on Netflix.
Many cameos in this video a few of them are:
Jackson Browne,
Elvis Costello,
K.D.Lang,
Bonnie Raitt,
J.D. Souther,
Bruce Springsteen,
Tom Waits,
And I thought I got a glimpses of Lyle Lovett and more.

My own private "supper Club in the sticks" !

I have just finished slaving in the kitchen making Meatloaf from an Epicurious recipe so Foodie friends I need your prayers and good wishes for a success. The recipe is American ( of course) and uses American measures so I hope I have converted it all and that it will taste OK.

Fingers crossed, touch wood etc... I will be serving small baby potatoes with it as for some reason I really don't fancy mashed potatoes at the moment.

I adore meatloaf but the recipe is a first for me so I am a little nervous !

I'm sure your meatloaf will be delish.. I never make mine the same way each time. IMO, there's not too much that you can do to screw up a meatloaf. Let us know how it turned out!

Last night ended up shredding up a bit of bbq chicken and adding it to a hot cast iron skillet w/ some oil. In went some diced kebab goodies - zukes and yellow squash and red onion and the last of the steak. Added a jalapeno to all for good measure, heated just until warmed through, and served with dry wheat toast. Had nice contrasts of flavor.

Think I fancy some chicken soup made with more chicken and grilled veggies for tonight.
