Looks like those chicken breast are going into research. After reading about fried chicken in red velvet cake mix we are going to try it. Sauteed in EVOO. Then I'm going to try honey mustard on mine.
I finally went to the grocery store and meat market in this awful heat, I just couldn't put it off any longer. I had to make 2 trips because I didn't want to leave either in the hot car.
We had T bone steaks, a big old salad, homoney and garlic bread. I even made a peanut butter pie for dessert.

OK - WOW!!!!! lol - you must tel me about this one!
Very excited about tomorrow's dinner though - read this JAXSON - tomorrow a.m. will slow roast some chuck steak pieces with seasoning and then let it cool and shred for taco filling. Will fry corn tortillas, fill with shredded beef, lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheese - the usual suspects - and chow down whilst the Chargers and Cowboys duke it out on my TV screen.
Woo hoo our taco queen is back!

Interesting very interesting so how did it come out? Did ya just dip the chicken in the cake batter? Why red velvet? See inquiring minds need to know Nomad.
Kats did ya do the ribs in the oven successfully the other night? That is what we had tonight well country ribs.
I seasoned them up then quickly browned them in my iron skillet before putting them in a slow low oven uncovered for about 3-4 hours. Turned them over about an hour left to go then slathered Sweet Baby Ray's Vidalia Onion BBQ sauce on them. Doused more sauce on them the last 15 minutes and girl they were slap your mama good! We had sweet corn from my cousin's garden again, purple cherokee tomatoes and butternut squash. All the veggies were so fresh you could hear the snapping crispness when you took a bite.
We split a sub, Pepperoni & Provolone w/hot peppers and Russian Dressing
