NFL Coaches
Who's your coach of the year so far this season? Who has been the biggest disappointment? Which coach will get fired first this year? My coach of the year so far is Mcarthy from the Packers. Biggest disappointment has to be Manginous who turned out to be a fake. Rams coach will get fired first. Who you got?

I'm biased, but Mike McCarthy so far is my coach of the year (nice call, X). His team has obvious and glaring deficiencies, and he as a coach has some work to do, too, but he's instilled attitude in that team. It's not an accident that they keep finding ways to win most weeks.

Jeff Fischer: how he continues to get this Tennessee team to be so competitive, is mind boggling. Its ugly most of the time on offense, but some how, some way, the Titans just win. At this point I'd probably rank Fisher as the game's current best head coach outside of New England.

my coach of the year is Rod Marinelli. He has really ridded the lions of the culture of losing. If he can finish strong he should be coach of the year.
Another coach who deserves credit is Tom Coughlin he nearly lost his team after two weeks but he kept them together and helped them to keep pace with the Cowboys.
Biggest disappointments would be Magnini, Lovie Smith, Mike Nolan, and Scott Linehan. All of their teams have fallen short of expectations (espically Magnini and Nolan.)

Mike McCarthy!!!
I have to admit as a Packer fan I was shaking my head when they passed on Sean Payton to take McCarthy. I really thought they just enjoyed losing. A 4-12 season ends, you fire the coach and hire an offensive coordinator that led the last ranked offense the prior year?
But somehow it has gone really good, and the Packers went from 4-12 to 8-8 in one season, and are now poised to seriously move into playoff contention and at least tie their 8-8 record with just one more win. I'm really hoping for an 11-5 or better season, and if they can get the running game going and do a better job stopping the run on defense, I think they have a great shot at 12-4.

Mike McCarthy had some pretty good answers for Mike Shanahan in the Monday night game in Denver. It is not easy winning in that place.

McCarthy or Marinelli. McCarthy was horrible last year, and before that, he was the Niners' offensive coordinator. He was worse as a coordinator! What a turnaround.
The Lions are having a solid year. Turns out years of stockpiling WR's have finally paid some dividend...even though Charles Rogers and Mike Williams are out of the league right now...

So, the season has ended, who's your Coach of the year now? I know I'm biased but I've got to say it's Joe Gibbs. After everything, with all the injuries, Sean Taylor's passing, etc.... they made it to the playoffs. Had Cleveland made the playoffs, I'd have to pick Romeo Crennel. He still did a great job though.
