Grade your team (NFL)
My Team: Dallas Cowboys
Overall
History and Tradition: A-
Division: B+
Uniforms: B+
Ownership: B-
Location: A-
Stadium: C
Fans: B+
Comments: 5 super bowls, 8 NFC Championships, the most playoff appearances, and we've only been around since 1960. Were in one of the toughest divisions in football, historically (the NFC East has won a total of 10 super bowls and over 7 decades of history). The uniforms have always been some what special , from the double star 1960 unis to the fact that they never seem to where there blue jerseys. GM Jerry and Owner Jones have done a pretty good job of keeping Cowboys' dynasty status. They're in the DFW area, one of the best sports areas in America. The stadium has alot of history, but it's ugly.... and in 2 years, that C will turn into an A+. We have alot of great fans, and some rats.... but mostly great fans.
2007 Season
Offense: A
Defense: A-
Special Teams: B+
Coaching: A
Comments: If everyone stays healthy, we WILL go to the Super Bowl! Go Cowboys!!!!

Green Bay Packers: Overall A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What else would you expect me to rate them as??
Some key things:
Only NFL team to win 3 straight championships (once 1929-1931, again 1965-1967)
12 total championships most in NFL (granted GB has been around a lot longer than some)
Lambeau Field: 3 things---Lambeau Leap, Frozen Tundra, Ice Bowl
Also there is no other NFL franchise with the community/team relationship that is woven so tightly

gotta admit, i'm a closet packer fan. [though i'm only in the closet when i'm in public in chicagoland]
I live in wisc part of the year, so i'm a cheesehead too.
so, i can root for someone who is actually good.
GO Pack.

For my beloved Chicago Bears:
Overall:
History and Tradition: A (only the Packers could compare)
Division: A- (all of division teams are old school rivals)
Uniforms: A (classic and clean)
Ownership: B- (it's gotten better, but historically penny pinchers)
Location: B+ (not a party area like Wrigleyville, but close to downtown and in a beautiful park area)
Stadium: B (lots of history and looks great from the inside, but the exterior looks like a flying saucer parked next to Lake Michigan)
Fans: A- (have sold out games for 25 straight years and undyingly loyal, but susceptible to mob mentality, i.e. Rex at QB earlier this year, albeit not as bad as Philly)
2007 Season:
Offense: F- (when people are excited about Kyle Orton, it's time to pack it in)
Defense: C (battered with injuries, but still not playing up to expectations at all)
Special Teams: A (only because of Devin Hester)
Coaching: C- (every time the Bears have had a great win that would appear to give the team momentum, they have come out and stunk up the joint the very next week - that's poor preparation)
Also, the one thing that I will never become is a closet Packer fan!

Agree with nearly everything here except for Barnett- he is far and away the best LB on this team this year- and it's not even close (and I was never a big Barnett fan before- thought he was all bark and no bite). If there's justice, he'll be going to Hawaii in February. Also think Crosby is better than you are giving him credit for. Learning to kick in Lambeau in cold weather ain't easy. He has the leg, and the mental makeup to be a good kicker.

The Washington Redskins: C-
I'm being very generous due to the sad story of Sean Taylor. But even before that,
it's the same old story again, big names, no production. Horrible coaching/ownership.
Forecast is No play- off appearance AGAIN.
The Indianapolis Colts: B+
Done great with all the injuries but terrible Special teams play which cost them
the game at San Diego. They also should/could have beat the Evil Empire had they
covered the kick off better on NE's last drive, they gave up great field position which
gave a nice short field to Golden Boy to score the winning TD. They must fix the
Special Teams play.
