PLAYOFFS: Chargers @ Colts
So the Chargers are coming to Indy. Indy has had trouble against the Chargers, most recent one being a close loss during the regular season where Manning had 6 INTs and Vinatieri missed 2 field goals, the last one of which would have won the game. Another CRAZY thing in this game was that the Colts special teams was horrible allowing one TD on a Kick off return and a TD on a punt return.
With that said, I think the Colts will be very motivated to redeem themselves after that horrible performance. Anybody can win any given game, this is the NFL but I am hoping for a HUGE Colts win. I do like LT alot, what a great athlete and a great person too but my prediction is Colts 31-17, GO BLUE!!

The special teams coach should have been fired the next day. Manning caught a lot of heat for throwing interceptions in that game. People seem to forget the hole he was in.
In recent weeks everyone has been talking Pats Pats Pats. The Colts aren't even mentioned. Last time I checked they were still the reigning champions. I hope they are setting the Pats up for the biggest let down in history.

I agree totally with both of you, x, i think that the Colts will be trying to prove something to everyone when playing the chargers. Only thing we have to worry about is containing LT he is awesome and if he gets loose we are in trouble. But if we get pressure on Rivers he will be so rattled and probably throw 2 or 3 picks. With Bob Sanders getting up on the line he will have a radar on LT so it will be a great game

as much as i like the chargers i don't think they have it in them to beat an elite team. if you look at how poor the colts played when the chargers won it shouldn't have been that close. if the colts come out prepared and play good football the chargers wont stand a chance.

It's getting close to game time, I'm getting excited. I'm surprised this thread has not been as busy given how good of a matchup this game is. Go Colts!!

well i put another 2 cents in. So what about Harrision playin!!!!!! that is sweet i knew that he would come back for the playoffs. It will take him a few series to get the rust off but he will take the pressure off Clark in the slot and he will run wild in the middle.
Colts in a close game in the first half but come out firing on all cylinders in the second half. i think they will put up 30 or more.

Colts have too many weapons for the Chargers. Manning will not repeat his six interception game...Colts win by 10-14 points.
I actually have the Colts in the Superbowl against the Cowboys. With the Cowboys winning a wild one.

In the earlier meeting, Peyton had 6 picks, Vinatieri blew a chip shot, and San Diego squeaked by with a win. If Antonio Gates doesn't play, the Colts will romp. The Colts are still Super Bowl Champions and will not look past this game after embarrassing themselves earlier. Colts 37, Chargers 17.

Great physical game! Chargers 28 Colts 24, next week, it's off to Foxboro for San Diego for the right to be called AFC Champions.
