With the Seahawks not looking so good, a (2-0) start, and the NFC West wide open, how does the Cards 2008 season look?

It's early and anything can change, but look ahead folks....... The Cardinals could be the team that rises out of the West this time around.

Im predicting a cardinal breakthrough this year, they should finally challenge for a wild-card spot this season.

JJG-whazzup? Just to show you how old I am, there has been no Arizona/St.Louis/Chicago Cardinals NFL Championships won in my lifetime, the last one being in 1947. You talk about a long suffering franchise, they haven't been in the playoffs since Jake Plummer's 2nd season. With Boldin and Fitzgerald at wideouts, Warner is having a resurgence. The Leinert situation baffles me. I'm a big Bronco fan, but I root for Mtn. Time Zone Clubs and I've seen the Cardinals in training camp in Flagstaff a time or two, a good place to get away from that oppressive heat.

That was a freak game. The Cards I know all too well usually play like they did last week against the Jets.

The Cards are now 4-2! Saw their ending on Sportscenter as they won in overtime blocking a punt in overtime and scoring a touchdown in the end zone to win it. Is that a fantastic finish or what?

Thought I would update this. Cards are playing tonight on Monday Night Football. Were on for one game last year. I can't remember the last time that happened, them being on prime time 2 years in a row, probably when Coryell coached them in the 70's. They play the 49ers tonight. They ARE being aided by playing in the worst division in football, though. Frisco has fallen a long ways since their glory days, and I don't see them upsetting the Cards. I think Warner is due for a big game; he is playing his best ball in years. Cardinals 31, 49ers 14.
