Default Steelers VS Broncos, Monday, Nov 9, 2009 in Denver, CO

This mon nite nov 9th on espn is a big afc football game. The 5-2 steelers at the 6-1 broncos in denver. The steelers are in a tough division & need a win to stay on top with the ravens & bengals. The bengals play the ravens this sun & the steelers host the bengals the following sunday. The NFL is entering the 2nd half of the season & every game is important now. Time sure has gone by this season. GO STEELERS!!!

I don't know what to think about this game I was way off in predicting 5 wins for the Broncos this year, but they looked bad last week, I think the Steelers win but I think it will be close like 20-17.

The broncos qb (norton) is good this year but the steelers defense is awesome just like the ravens last week who spanked denver. Both the steelers & broncos are cold weather teams so it should be a good game. Pittsburgh is now a passing team unlike the previous years especially the 70,s.

It's going to be a close one, but I think the Steelers will win it.

An interesting thing between Denver and Pittsburgh is the amount of times they have faced each other in the playoffs. Out of six playoff games since 1977, both teams have three.

One of the more memorable games I have gone to was the first overtime regular season game in NFL history. It was in 1974, with the final score Denver 35, Pittsburgh 35. In that game I thought "Jefferson Street" Joe Gilliam was going to be the next NFL superstar as he lit up the scoreboard in what I believe was his first NFL start, but it didn't turn out that way.

Since the AFL/NFL merger, the overall stats show Denver has won more games than Pittsburgh when they have faced each other, by a slight margin.

I'll just say it will be one hell of a game.

I think the Ravens well showed how real the Broncos were. I'm going with Pittsburgh by 10 points.

I always have to laugh when I hear this. We've beat better teams than the Ravens this year already, yet because we lost one game (when they were in a very desperate situation no less) somehow we're not for real?

Makes me wonder what people are thinking sometimes.
