Isn't that what the city/highway ratings are for? Not that they're always correct.
It would still be great to have a chart with several different speeds (perhaps in different gears as well) and the MPGs achieved at each. City/Hwy ratings are just averages under approximate conditions.
Yeah but the City/Hwy ratings are more accurate than the useless link in this thread will ever be in terms of what an owner can actually expect from the car.

Thats true, but if I owned one knowing that speed would be useful while not on the highway or in the city. I would have to say that normally about 80% of my driving is done in 40-45 mph zones. There are many others that have the same type of commutes.
Wow, incredible fuel economy numbers from a 300+hp sportscar
Even though it was cruising at ~45mph, it is still very impressive nonetheless. Ford's new products (Taurus SHO, Mustang GT, Eco-boost, Sync, etc) have really impressed me lately. For those that aren't familiar Sync was a system Microsoft and Ford developed together and appeared on 2010 models, all-in-one touchscreen Nav/Bluetooth/Music/etc system. It makes my Fusion Sport a much more enjoyable daily driver.
I hate to admit it but Ford has really been doing it's homework. Other manufacturers should take notice.
