The thing is, their target market is not 60, 70, or 80 years old, it's 30's and 40's.
Their vehicles have absolutely nothing to attract their target market.
Even we older people don't see anything in the Lincoln line up that is the slightest bit impressive.
They started this fancy smanchy dealer service, and what the hell good is that if the product stinks, and isn't selling?
I keep reading on other forums about Lincoln's plans for 2014, 2015 and beyond.
I firmly believe Ford will pull the plug on the Lincoln Motor company long before that.
Bob.

Agreed 100% and I have actually typed the exact same words in the comments section of a review of the new MKwhatever. I always keep my eyes peeled when I'm driving and I finally saw my first new MKZ a few weeks back. While I didn't get up close and personal with the driver, I can say that she had grey hair.

I'm in my mid-40s and purchased a new car last year. I shopped foreign and domestic marques up to $60k but I didn't give Lincoln so much as a second thought (except to shake my head and laugh at the MKS). I wound up with a Charger R/T which is quiet like a luxury car but also handles well with RWD.

I would love to see Lincoln succeed, I purchased a string of new Ford vehicles back in the 80s-90s. By all accounts, I should be graduating into a Lincoln by now but that just isn't happening with the current lineup. How many sales can they afford to lose before they pull the plug?
