Needless to say the end of the warranty was the end of my ownership of it.
the Probe GT/Mazda MX6 twins were not to shabby FWD sport compacts back in the early to mid-90's they may not of had the best 1/4 mile times but were pretty decent at carving corners and caught alot of Honda Civics off-guard back in the day.

For me, the worst is probably the mid '90s V6 base Mustang, heavy and underpowered with floppy suspension in stock form, and not much power potential, and harder to swap a V8 into.
I wish I had of kept my 1978 King Cobra I had back in 1984.
I bought it for 800 when I was 17 years old.
The only thing I had to do to it was put new tires on it, that was my fault.
It was not the fastest car around but a 6 year old 302 was a great engine and fast enough to be fun.
But then again I can think of a lot of cars I had back in my younger years.
After the Mustang I bought a 67 cougar for 325 that was fun too.

It looks like a typical 90's amorphous jellybean car, very bland and blends in with everything else.

What about the 1980's 2.3L N/A Mustang?

88 HP up til 1990, when the 1991 model got the dual plug head and bump to 100HP. I had one of these for a short while and merging on the highway was always a fun time. It ran the quarter mile in a blistering 20 seconds. Throw in rear drum brakes, 10" front brakes and no ABS and it just sucked to drive "spirted" at all.

At least the mid 90's V6 had 120HP, 4-wheel disk brakes, ABS (available) and a longer wheel base.

Even the Mustang II had that crappy N/A 2.3L.

I had numerous Mustangs and I have been a fan since I can remember. Up till last year the Mustang II was the only one I was not fond of but I have to add the 2015 to that list now. The new ones look to European to me.

I dunno. The more and more i see the new ones, the more I'm falling in love with them. It's true they "European'ed" them, but I'm liking the fact that it looks like a modern performance vehicle.

The retro styling of 05-14 was nice, but the car looked dated. I loved the rounded, modern looking lines of the 96-98 Mustang (especially Cobra) and did kinda like the 01-04 variety as well (I owned an 03 GT) but the new 2015 5.0 has me wishing I had $50K to blow on a(nother) weekend-driven Mustang.

BTW. I still have the window sticker for my fully loaded '03 GT coupe at $27K. New Mustang GT can get up to $50K. Holy wow.

Did they not have a $5K Funky metallic colour changing paint job as an option on those era SVT Cobra's?

I saw one with it at a car show and it was kind of of interesting but hard to believe people paid $5 Grand for it as an option back then though

1996 had Mystic
2004 had Mystichrome.

Cool looking in person, but boy did it get expensive to have a fender bender. The paint is VERY expensive. Approx $500/pt.

I believe if you place it next to the highly sought after 1987-1993 coupes you will see similarities in the profile.

I was just going to post this one, too.

Mrs. NBP had a Mustang II. It was a decent car but had carb issues. And that damned seatbelt interlock.
