their website didn't list Raptor as one of their incoming line of trucks.


am thinking its probably because F150 has a Raptor edition and may cannibalize their sales if the Ranger has same edition too

They're also thinking of having a Raptor version of the up and coming Bronco. I kind of look at the Raptor trim as a "Hell Cat" for Ford. It's kind of niche and only a select few with the disposable income will be able to afford it. It's not very practical as a truck. Raptor in a Ranger or Bronco might prove to be more fun to drive anyway.

buyers may not even drive it off road just to have fun. city slickers buy it for the "possibility" of going off road one day and the heaviest they carry are the bulky items they buy from Costco

Pretty much! My wife loves the Raptors, but honestly, she couldn't handle one if I bought it for her. I don't even know if she could handle a full size truck or not.
