It's about time they resumed the Bronco. The word is they designed it with semi-structural exterior panels and mod-ready design like the Wrangler and the original '66-'76 Bronco series.
I'm getting the new Explorer----need the 4-doors.
Really? Do you have a link to that with more info? If so, that is positive news.
The test mule could be a powertrain test mule. That rendering isn’t even a Ford rendering. Personally I would have a removable soft top and the hard top as the optional or vice versa.
I hope it’s gonna look more squared off like the 60s bronco rather than another bloated overweight egg screwed the Michelin man mall UV. And for Christ sake DONT give it IFS. With solid axles coil springs good suspension travel, a few engine options and good off road capability by offering models with electronic lockers, skid plates, winches, off road lights and bumpers.
If theire hoping for a ranger platform suv to be a hit because they throw a molded BRONCO badge on it ....yeah the lemmings will buy it and go to the mall with it. Its most likely gonna be some power vehicle. And I’m a Ford guy but if it’s another typical SUV you can count me out
Can you only put on two? Installed? Seemed I googled this and it was all like 3,000
Two shocks? Can’t be. If its coilovers they may run $100/$120 plus laborvto swap the coils over from the old ones. Maybe a bit more if it’s a lifted application.
Unless you’re talking a full suspension kit yeah those can run $3000

I PM the poster, but yes, it is just the front two shocks. You need a spring compressor for the coils, but the shocks and labor all together is only a few hundreds dollars. The full lift kit, nice one at that, is in the 3000 range.

Yes you can replace in pairs unless you have X-reas in which case the shocks would all have to be changed at once.
No way is a simple shock replacement all the way around 3k.
I have no idea what you were looking at to get that price.
Honestly I have to wonder how people are driving who complain significantly about the nose dive...I do alot of city and suburban driving and just don't find myself having to brake aggressively all that often??? Yeah, it really dives if you slam on the brakes but who does that all the time.
