Has anyone seen the Ford commercial where the guy says he changed or went from buying an "import" to buying a Ford Fusion? I wonder if he was referring to the Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, or Toyota Camry; all of which are built in the U.S.A.
News Flash Folks: The Ford Fusion is made in MEXICO!!!!
p.s. Just like the Mercury Milan, Lincoln MKZ, Chevrolet Avalanche, Cadillac Escalade EXT, and others I'm sure! As well as more and more engines and transmissions that are put into so called "domestic" vehicles.

Just wash it before you drive it. That way you won't have to touch something that a minority touched.

Well, I don't recall them talking about where it was made, but the one where the guy changes from 4 dr Accord to Mustang GT is odd given they are not the same type of car.

I saw this commercial last night while watching the Sunday Night Football game. It might be new.
No I didn't. You just didn't grok my sense of humor.

Stop assuming that a person who is pro U.S. worker is xenophobic or racist.
I assumed nothing, see my comment re humor.

And anyway Einstein: they wouldn't be a minority in Mexico, now would they?!
Well, Einstein, why don't you take a stab at telling me how much more that vehicle would cost you if it were 100% manufactured in the USA? We generally have lazy workers who expect far too high a wage for far too little work. It's no wonder companies take their manufacturing business outside. *shrug*
I always thought the Ford Fusion one was hilarious. "I went from driving an import to driving a re-skinned, re-badged Mazda6!" Well congratulations I guess.

Actually, I did go from a Honda to a Ford Fusion, and I knew it was a reskinned Mazda. That was the only way I was ever going to buy an American-branded vehicle.
The biggest problem with Ford is that they dont offer enough of their European models here. Im convinced that they would be a hit, they have a lot of neat stuff over there that they strangely hide from the AMERICAN public.
Ford, are you listening?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
