I've seen this little car about three times now in Raleigh and Durham - its bright lime green with some decals on the rocker panels - they won't be on sale here for another year or so afaik, but there's a handful here now. Pretty cool to see - its a lauded car in Europe and imo it looks great.

Has anyone else in Raleigh seen it?

For any Top Gear fans, here's Jeremy Clarkson's review of it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_KIqdS1SO0

Haven't Fiestas been around for years?

Hmmm... to answer my own question: It seems not. The name seems really familiar, but searching the web it looks like it's never been in the U.S. Is that right?

You're probably thinking of the forgettable Festiva - it was like a Ford Yugo.

The Fiesta has always been a European car, made in Germany Ford, that is very well received.

There used to be Ford Fiestas in the US years and years ago. They were inexpensive cars that had less than stellar reputations.

it's the zx3 w/ a facelift. hope Ford got that annoying seat belt location moved so the front seat passengers don't have to dislocate their shoulder to reach it - ouch!

uhm, no. smaller car entirely. think of the Fiesta as a Yaris whilst the Focus would be a Corolla.

for all info on the Fiesta, I recommend this site: http://www.fiestafaction.com/forums/

Ok, that's really cute. That's my next car. I will live with my very boring Hyundai until then.

It's sort of cute and stylish...too bad it's a Ford. They will find a way to muck it up before it hits the streets here.

Hey livesintriangle, JD Power and Associates recently ranked a Hyundai over similar-classed BMW & Mercedes! Now where'd I see that report at?

Really? That's funny

I like mine but I don't like the look of the one I bought. It's ok, but I'd like a hatchback.

That Fiesta would be fun to drive on our local winding roads. (I thought I better post something local to keep this local)
