I could care less about mileage myself (as long as its above 15 I'm ok) but how is it stupid to market a product using a characteristic the public wants? If I was working in marketing and I knew that a huge portion of the public is concerned with fuel mileage well of course I'd be pushing my product based on its great mileage. It's simply smart marketing.
The point of my comment is that it is Miles per gallon,(mpg) not miles per gallons (mpg's) as their commercial mistakenly refers. I like seeing them push their strong points, just get it right on the ads.
