Trying to close a house with Fanni Mae and realized the Title Agency they use are charging us doubled of what we expected. I never heard of "Resale Bundled Rate" ($220), in addition, the Closing fee is $650 from buyer and another $650 from seller. Not to mention they have a high recording fee of $65.

I guess when dealing with Fanni Mae, they pick their Title Agency which means buyer is stuck with them. But this is just so WRONG. The Agency clearly knows that buyer can not do anything but bend-over.

Last year we closed on another house which is larger than this one and our closing fee was only $500. This one is going to be $1065.

So if you are going after Fanni Mae houses. Be ready to swallow the closing cost.
