Hi I am looking for any information anyone can guve me on buying a foreclosed/sheriff sale property in Pennsylvania.
I found a condo that I want to buy. It is up for sheriff sale. I made some calls & found out that I will need to put 10% down the day of the sale (provided I have the winning bid) and then I would need to pay the remaining balance in 3 weeks. My question is
>Anyone know how people usually get the a lender to have the money available for them in 3 weeks. Should I just get a preapproval from a bank and even I do, are they usually able to close in 3 weeks?
>How would I find out about any liens on the property as it is my understanding that I would be responsible for them.
>Do you suggest using a lawyer or realtor
> Is their ay other suggestions or tips you can provide with regard to buying a foreclosed on via sherif sale in Pa.
