short sale question... (appraisal, agent, accepted, offer)

Can someone tell me the process of a short sale after the sellers have accepted the short sale offer and filled out paperwork and submitted to the bank?? We are in the process of this right now and things don't really seem to be happening. My agent said they went out to do an appraisal on the house but thats been weeks ago and she says she hasn't been informed of anything...just wondering if thats normal??

Recommend you do a search on "short sale" in this forum, you will find lots of info on the process and possible problems.

And yes, your situation is not unusual.
