Does buying a foreclosure home have "bad karma"? Not yet ready to buy; just wondering what others think about this.

I would ask the defaulted home owners what sort karma they got from probably over paying and then getting themselves in too deep...

If you mean making a huge amount of money and being happy from a great deal as "bad karma" then yes...

I have owned several REO properties. I have never had any "bad karma" experiences.

I guess your personal beliefs play into it a little bit, but really-it's a building. Buildings are inanimate objects. I don't think buildings have karma.

It's more about economics and supply and demand... (Like getting a good deal on Shoes at TJMAX). Buying a foreclosed is part of the healing processes for a crappy economy. So buy a foreclosed home considered yourself a healer and expect good karma. ;-)
