I think we must get even less rain than you guys do down in Denver, because it seems that when Denver is getting even a little bit, Fort Collins gets nothing.

The more and more I have driven around the area, the more I am noticing how dry it really is. Treeless mountains, brown grass, desert-y looking vegetation, wildfires and grass fires starting at the drop of a hat, and endless sunshine almost every day.

I don't know if that past couple of months are typical of a Colorado summer, including this long dry spell, but if it is I think I will do just fine here.
I think Ft. Collins gets about the same amt of rain as we do in metro Denver. June and July were pretty wet, for Colorado in June and July.

Any updates on the fire? I have been pretty disconnected from the news in the past couple days. I guess since I haven't heard much things must be settling down?
