My husband and I are 2 weeks away from relocating to Fort Collins, Colorado, from Blacksburg, Virginia. We're both active people who enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking.

Check out the Colorado Mountain Club. I think they have chapters in different cities along the Front Range.

Thanks. It seems like that is the big hiking organization for the state, and they do have chapters in many of the big cities.

Does Fort Collins have many biking (as in bicycle) clubs? I hear they have plenty of bike trails all over town. Also, does anyone know what Personal Trainers get paid up there?

I think there are several bike clubs around this area although I am not sure of specific ones. There are always bike races in the area and also in Boulder which is not far away. Also there are numerous bike and walking trails in town and also bike lanes on most roads in Fort Collins. You may want to contact the owners of Orchards athletic club in Loveland. They are both huge bike enthusiasts and would know details. Their names are Hugh and Ainsley.
My wife has had a couple of personal trainers. The first one she paid 35.00 per half hour session and the second she paid 200.00 for five 1 hour sessions. The second was a martial arts trainer.
