I am considering a career change and an opportunity in Windsor has presented itself. Currently we have 1 child (4) and are looking to start another. I was hoping to find out what communities in the area are good for a family, crime rates areas to avoid. Currently we live in a community which is great for kids but still has a lot of fun stuff for adults to do, restaurants, shopping ect, is there something out there like that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Windsor is a small farming town that has grown up. Though it has some employment, it serves as a bedroom community for Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley. All of these communities are pretty close and easy to travel between, so activities shouldn't be hard to find for adults or children.

There are some restaurants in Windsor, but for more dining and shopping options beyond groceries and essentials, Windsor residents will usually head to Loveland or Fort Collins. The closest movie theaters are in those two cities. There is word of a large Dave and Buster's type entertainment venue in the works in east Loveland.

Crime is relatively minimal in the Windsor area. You may want to Google crime maps to see what kind of crime you may encounter in each of the communities.
