Default Fort Collins -- PHOTO TOUR (Pix only. No discussion)

- Fort Collins - PHOTO TOUR (Discussion only. No pix.) ]

Today I went to Fort Collins. I had the good fortune of hiking at Horsetooth Mountain Park. It was my first official Coloradoan hike.

After hiking, I had to rest my blisters & decided to eat lunch downtown. Fort Collins has a great downtown area, I was surpised at how many residents were enjoying the shops & restaurants there on a weekend afternoon.

I didn't take a picture of the cafe I ate at, but it was called "Mugs". The Benoit sandwich was yummy. Is it just me or does there seem to be a turkey w/ avocado sandwich at almost every eating establishment in CO?. Is this a local thing that I'm not aware of? In any event, I really love the combination. Also, "Mugs" serves their iced coffees in plastic cups made from corn, making them super duper biodegradable. I've never seen this before, but I felt very environmentally friendly today.

Here are my pictures -
