I work in in Nunn and currently living in an apt in Greeley. Wife and kids live in North Carolina. Looking to move them out here in the next month or so. I am partial to Wellington due to it being a 15 minute commute to work and 15 minutes north of Ft Collins. Plus the cost of housing and newer housing. Wife has Ft Collins stuck in her head. She says we will get tired of the commute just to go to Walmart or doctors or restaurants. She has it in her head that Wellington is out in the boonies.

How can I convince her to buy a house here?

it was easy for us when we bought in Wellington several years ago, house prices were a lot cheaper and 15minutes into fort collins is nothing for us coming from Las Vegas, NV. we would spend 20min. driving to target/walmart. We could spend 45 minutes driving from one end of town to the other for certain things. But if you give Wellington some time there will be all that here at the rate it is growing. Ridleys grocery store is a pretty good store, there are dentists, a pharmacy, not sure about doctors office we do go to fort collins for doctors still. My mother in law lives in fort collins and she can almost spend the same time driving to certain things than we can coming from wellington. but just the price of housing should be enough to get her to look elsewhere. you can find cheaper stuff in Fort Collins but it wont have AC or a garage. when we were looking for houses, we wanted 3bed/2bath 2 car garage with AC. couldnt find it in fort collins in our price range, we found houses in our price range but they were 3bed/1bath. or 1 car garage or no AC. We went up to Wellington and found it all for the price we needed.

Wellington is a major step up from Nunn (or Carr, CO)

She shuold be very thankful. And also fine in Wellington. (Tie her down in the wind)

Ft Collins has a lot of traffic to go along with the higher costs.

Your commute to Nunn will be a breeze, and you can daily "Watch Nunn Grow"

Have you visited Wellington?

I joke that I live in the boonies of Fort Collins and I would take it any day over Wellington.

Traffic is all relative. I'm from the east coast and have yet to observe the traffic everyone complains about.
