While we're in Denver this weekend I'd like to take a quick road trip to Ft. Collins. We're hoping to move to Denver this fall.
We love Boulder and Estes Park and will spend some time in the Rockies and Breckenridge. Is it worth driving to Ft. for a late afternoon trip and dinner? I think I read somewhere that it's similar to Boulder but not quite as Liberal? Does it have cool, funky, shops that my wife would enjoy? (She liked Pearl Street in Boulder.) Recommendations for dinner for two very health conscious people? Thanks! |

Old town Fort Collins will give your wife the kind of shopping she is looking for. There are many places to eat down in that area also. One of my favorites is the Melting Pot (fondue), it is on the pricey side just to warn you. If you are looking for some entertainment I would suggest seeing the show "I love you your perfect now change" currently playing at the nonesuch theatre on pine street off of Laporte ave. My wife and I were crying we were laughing so hard!!!!
