Does anyone know the history of the older industrial 'complex' of buildings just south of Timberline Church on Timberline? It would be about the 2100 block, between the church and Pinecone Apartments. It stands out against the rest of the "scenery" as a bit of a relic, and out of place. There is a sign on at least one door indicating "Poison - Keep Out".

Access to the site is not blocked or chained off, so it might still be used, though I've never seen any vehicles or people there.

Just checked the city's GIS maps. CSU owns the site. Not sure what's in there, though.

Thanks. It's interesting to finally know who owns the site. From the ground, it looks like nine mysterious buildings of an industrial nature, with no noticeable signs or markings (at least from the road). Maybe CSU needed or needs to store the particular items away from campus.

If I remember correctly, it was ag storage for CSU and may have been part of an ag research operation on that land prior to the construction of the homes, businesses, and church there.

That parcel is currently being considered as a candidate for a land swap between CSU and Timberline Church. The church might trade some land to the east of its building and parking lot to CSU for that parcel. This would allow CSU to potentially build some affordable housing there.

Thanks Mike. I didn't realize there was an article about that very spot, and potential plans for it. Maybe we'll see some changes there in the near future.
