My wife is a math teacher, and we'll be relocating to Fort Collins from the Washington, DC area next month. What are the high schools like? What is the job market like for teachers. Who would she contact to see about career possibilities?

She can contact Poudre School District in Fort Collins or Thompson Valley School district in Loveland. From what others have posted on this site it is very hard to get a teaching job in this area, especially if you do not have much experience. We do have very good schools in this area. I wish her luck in her search. I have been to Washington DC a couple of times and really enjoyed it, but I can tell you that Fort Collins is a very clean, beautiful city. You will both love it here. Welcom to Colorado.
