Relocating to FC.
Leaning towards relocating to FC very soon and could use personal recomendations of apartments.
Can anyone recommend any good quiet apartments.? Location not an issue.
I have no kids, so I would be interested in an Apt complex that is somewhat quiet. (Go ahead, laugh).. There has to be one out there right.?
Also, based on what I've read so far, it appears FC is predominantly a young college town. This Q may sound crazy, but Is there any 30's-40's professional singles as in Denver area.?
Thx.

You should find a herd of 30-40yo's living in SE FC, that is the concentration of tech employment. There will be plenty in east and central FC too. Check into groups / clubs in your interest level to get connected.
There are plenty of 'quiet' apartment areas, just check out the older parts of town, and keep some distance from CSU. You will probably need to spend a weekend driving around checking places and I would try to beat the 'back-to-school' rush. Check out the area around PVMH. You might want to be in a good 'biking' area, as it is a nice town to do this.

There are some apartments on the corner of Lemay and Harmony that seem to be pretty quiet, also off of Lemay and Trilby. I would also suggest Loveland as you can get away from the college students. I lived in an apartment off of Rocky Mountain ave and McWhinney Blvd in Loveland. It was easy access to I25 and a quiet area.

I am sorry but I am not sure of the names of the places but the SE part of town is probably an older age group since it is further away from the college. Look in the Lemay and Trilby area.

What areas do you reccommend for renting a newer home in FT. Collins. Not lloking to get close enough to the college scene and still wanting to be near the bike path. Retired, so not looking for the job situation.

Newer home (less than 10 years) means south/southest fort collins in most cases. Not my cup of tea personally (no mature lots no city trails), but that is where you need to look if you need a newer home

Courtney Park Apartments on South Lemay and Harmony- great place to live- I'm in my upper 30's lots of different ages, people with kids, retirees etc. I would not live in Loveland- it's very nice, but farther from Ft. C and all the stuff to do!
I'm relocating bec. of my job, but have been very happy here and looked at many places

Fort Collins has many trails. There is a map of them on the cities website fcgov.org. I would suggest the southeast part of town. There are many retirement villages in that area and not a ton of college kids.

I've heard that the NW part of town is a better area. Not newer homes but alot to offer.
