The thing to remember is that Larimer county is huge. So a tornado warning for Larimer County does not necessarily mean Fort Collins. I lived in Fort Collins for 20 years and never experienced one, though there's plenty of hail and high wind that comes on the periphery of the twisters that strike farther east.

No, but the May 2008 storm touched down at Windsor, which isn't too far away from Ft Collins.
