I will be relocating to Greeley this summer for a job with the govt. My family will join me next may. I need some suggestions on good, decent apartments in Greeley, especially studios or 1 bedrooms and prefer utilities paid just to make my move a little less complicated. It doesn't need to be furnished. I am willing to pay 400-600 a month. Any info. is appreciated.

You can find exactly what you're looking for near UNC's campus, where I've lived for the past two years (you will have to deal with the normal aspects of living near college students). The rent is cheap. In fact I've got a friend in the neighborhood who only pays 600 a month toward the mortgage on his house

The neighborhood itself is fine but not perfect. Everytime I turn around there's another crime report about a shooting, an armed robbery and such and such but compared to the rest of East Greeley (further north, further east) it's great.

I'd look up the student catered housing in the area approximately between 14th avenue (west) to 8th avenue (east) and between 26th avenue (south) and 15th avenue (north). A lot of these have utilities included. I once lived in an apartment run by woody investments. google them, they have many properties in the neighborhood.

would you say that overall Greeley is a good place to live, I know it has its problems but is it not as bad as a lot of posts would betray it to be.

Yes!!!! Greeley is definately as bad as people say, its probably even worse! If you are moving to northern Colorado, try Loveland, Fort Collins, or Windsor.. they are much nicer communities, and are well kept. Greeley is very rundown, not taken care of, and full of illegals. I lived there for two years, I hated every minute of it, but there are a lot of cities that are much nicer, and not too far away.

What ever you do if you move to Greeley do not rent from Woody investments. The properties are not as billed. Greeley is not as bad as people say. There are some very nice neighborhoods. If you want cheaper rent look very close to the UNC campus, some of the area is a little rough so take a look around.
