Maybe somebody can correct me on this but I heard that Trader Joe's won't expand to any state that doesn't allow grocery stores to sell beer and wine.

There's a whole thread on TJ's. IIRC it can be found in the index for Denver. Please take further talk of TJ's to that thread.

Short version? TH's says they don't have a distribution warehouse here and won't come here until they do. They prefer to sell alcohol, but they do have stores in areas where they don't sell alcohol. The warehouse issue seems to be the sticking issue.

Yes, a good Indian restaurant would be a great addition to Fort Collins (or any city, for that matter). Meanwhile, I suggest Nepal restaurant in Estes Park. They serve some of the best Indian food in the area, including Boulder. In the summer, Nepal serves a lunch buffet which is good. The rest of the year, you order off their menu.

For Indian food- the Star of India on Harvard Street is very good. There is also Taj Mahal in Old Town

I'd like to see Costco, Ikea & Trader Joes here.

We have one Costco in COLO SPGS, and a second one set to open soon, just off of I-25 and exit 148. Ikea is about to build in Centennial. We've several long threads on TJ's, they've no stated plans to come here. Now, back to restaurants....

Well, there is Canyon Chop House.
