What restaurants or store do you want in Fort Collins?
I read a restaurant I liked called Bear Rock Cafe closed in Colorado. Tell me if you think it should reopen and what chains you wish were up there.

I loved Bear Rock Cafe and am sad that it closed. We have so many restaurants in Fort Collins that it is difficult to think of one that isn't already here! We are getting another BBQ restaurant which will be nice. Stores??? Nordstroms, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn...how is that for starters?? Have a great night!

How about a real restaurant that employs a chef as opposed to a chain restaurant with short order cooks? Is that possible?

How about a real taqueria? Denver and even Greeley have some great options, but Fort Collins has always been a bit lacking in this department. I think a decent place opened up on College just south of Prospect since I left the Fort, but still...

I'd like a relatively large Asian market similar to some they have in west Denver. The old Steele's on Mountain would be perfect for this. Also a south Indian restaurant where I can get a masala dosa:

Close. It's a really thin crepe and the batter is made out of lentils and rice. You put a spicy potato filling inside (the masala) and wrap it like a burrito. I've been trying to make one that looks like that for years. Invariably, I end up sacrificing most of mine to the Dosa Gods because they are either too thick to cook properly or so thin that they fall apart. Sigh ...
