Wow..it says that I haven't been on this forum since April...our first Grandbaby was born in Feb 09...guess it's obvious what has been
consuming my time...we did make the trip to Livermore in August...
and just as I expected...we totally fell in love with it...so our dream
of living there is still as big as it always was...I would love to lease/
rent something first though...before I got tied into another mortgage
right away...we are looking for a 3 to 4 bedroom...hopefully 2 baths...
quiet, private and with some property so that the dogs could run....
anyone have anything like that they are wanting to rent? We aren't
interested in being in a neighborhood...that's what we would be leaving
here...I want to be able to sit out on a porch and watch the birds...
and squirrels and whatever else shows up...I want my grandson to
listen to the wind in the trees...instead of 18 wheelers downshifting...
well, I wish everyone a Happy New Year...take care...

There's a Livermore, CO up north of Fort Collins, on Hwy 287, with a very tiny population, wide open spaces.

Can't imagine there is much there to buy or rent, but who knows what's tucked away up some of those country roads.

Better post this one in the Fort Collins subforum. Also, OP, there are several small towns NW of Fort Collins including Laporte, Bellvue, Waverly, Red Feather Lakes, etc in addition to Livermore, plus a number of rural properties that are just in the Larimer County -- might want to be open to some of those. There is also a newsletter for north larimer county called North Forty News which might have some info for you. They do have an online edition; do a google search.

Look at Glacier View Meadows. Near Livermore, just up the canyon a bit. Should be lots available
